frequently asked questions about Americh tubs

how long? "What is Hot Rush?"
custom made Hot Rush is a service we offer which dramatically increases the speed of you order. 3-4 weeks is the average lead time when shipping these made to order tubs. However, by selecting Hot Rush, we are able to get your order shipped with a lead time of 5-6 business days.

how long? "How long after I order an Americh tub will I receive it?"
custom made For standard colors, it generally takes about 21 days (three weeks) after your order has been placed before the factory ships the tub. That means, generally it will take about a month from the time that you place your order till the time that you will receive your Americh tub. However, custom and premium colors have a lead time to ship of 6-8 weeks. This means it can take up to 9 weeks from the time you placed your order till the time you receive your tub. You will see (when it arrives) how well Americh crates (price of crating included) your tub. It has been our experience that it is very rare that an Americh tub gets damaged in transit (unlike some other products that shipping carriers seem to damage easily).

quality? "What is your opinion on Americh's quality?"
Second to none. We believe Americh is one of the finest, quality oriented, acrylic tub manufacturers in the U.S..

Gelcoat or acrylic? "What is the difference between 'gelcoat' and 'acrylic' in the Americh tubs?"
"Gelcoated" tubs are manufactured out of fiberglass, with a coating of "Gelcoat" to obtain the desired finish; "Acrylic" tubs are made out of a formed sheet of acrylic, which remains consistent throughout the "wall" of the tub.
