Trak Rod Installation

Trak Rod parts
Parts List:
A — Two trak rod sections
B — Two trak rod connectors *
C — Four ceiling supports
D — Four ceiling flanges
E — Glide pins
* The trak rod connectors are shipped partially installed inside the trak rod sections
Please Note: Parts A and B are shown already connected.

Installation
  1. Installation is easiest (should be) when done by two people.
  2. Assemble the trak rods (A) using trak rod connectors (B). Before the assembly is complete, insert the desired number of glide pins (E) for your application. Please note the trak rod connectors come already partially installed in the trak rod sections.
  3. Position the trak rod assembly (A & B) above the desired location and mark the four hole locations found at each corner of the assembly. Please check and double check the position of the trak rod assembly before marking your holes.
  4. Attach the ceiling support flanges (D) to the ceiling. Make sure the flanges are centered over the marks previously made. Please also make sure you are using the correct hardware for the application. Screws and drywall anchors are included but not appropriate for all applications.
  5. Take the ceiling supports (C) and insert the open end into the ceiling flanges (D). Tighten the setscrew on the flange firmly against the ceiling support.
  6. Now take the screws out of the bottom end of the ceiling supports (there will be one screw in each ceiling support).
  7. Position the trak rod assembly under the ceiling supports so the screw hole in the ceiling support is directly over the holes in the corner of the trak assembly.
  8. Use the 4 ceiling support screws previously removed to attach the trak rod assembly to the ceiling supports.
  9. If shorter support rods are needed, the ceiling support rod can be cut to the desired length. Please make sure to cut the correct end as well as use the correct tool to cut the support.
  10. Your carousel trak rod is now ready for use. Please remember that this trak rod is strong enough for shower curtains but cannot be used for any other purpose.
Overall dimensions of the trak rod carousel can be changed. Cut the trak rod sections, add or remove trak. Additional connectors (B) are available for this purpose. Make certain that all cutting is done with the use of a miter box so that all pieces are perfectly
